We are delighted that Keele and North Staffordshire Teacher Education (KNSTE) – one of only 11 providers (10 in this country and one in Dubai) – are able to offer the Chartered Teacher Programme.
Successful completion of the programme enables participants to use the post-nominal CTeach.
The Stoke-on-Trent Opportunity Area board is pleased to support this much –welcomed professional development opportunity by sponsoring up to 10 places by funding £450 of the £895 course fee for teachers working in Stoke-on-Trent schools.
The programme is open to teachers from all phases with up to three years’ experience teaching children or young people in any education setting up to the age of 19.
The funded places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Teachers must meet the eligibility criteria as outlined on the KNSTE website and be successful in being offered a place on the course. KNSTE will advise you if you have been successful in securing one of these places. School leaders, you may then decide to fund the remaining £445, alternatively teachers themselves can invest in their own professional development and KNSTE are offering payment plans of four instalments for the remaining fee from delegates.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers to engage with research and high quality CPD and ultimately gain chartered teacher status. To find out more and to sign up you can go to the KNSTE website at: http://knste-shaw.org.uk/chartered-teacher-provider
